In a letter to Saad bin abi Waqas, Umar Ibn Al-Khattab wrote
in the following words:

The topic of Taqwa is of great importance as part of the Mus-
lims creed; indeed it is a topic of great depth and thus can
entail various meanings. When I had chosen ,,Taqwa as the
theme for this second issue of the SunnahFollowers maga-
zine, I remember sister Laila telling me how a broad topic it
is. Naturally I spent a couple of days thinking about this topic
of Taqwa and its meanings, I looked over my notes from the
