Ali said:
“We did not have a
horseman with us on the day of Badr except
al-Miqdad. Everyone amongst us was sleeping except for the Messenger
of Allâh (saw) who was under a tree, praying and weeping
until the morning.” (Ibn Khuzayman in his Sahîh.)
